After 20 years in sales and corporate account management, Julie unplugged from the corporate rat race and pursued her real life ambition to be a change maker. She completed a master’s program at age 40 and soon went into her own private practice, which continues to rank among the nation’s leading practices today.
In developing her psychotherapy practice, Julie added the dimensions of hypnosis and relaxation techniques to her clinic, allowing her to provide even greater value to the clients she serves. Her elite status in relationship health has also led to an extensive mentoring program involving therapist students from all over the county.
Julie’s writing credits include the books 4 Weeks to a Happier Relationship, The 4 Weeks Companion Workbook, and The Parenting Guide: What Your Children Need Most and How to Give it to Them.

In addition to her business/corporate background, Julie has extensive clinical training and experience including marriage and couple communication work, premarital preparation, high-risk teens, sexual abuse, impulse control, marriage counseling and family coaching. She holds a dual area of emphasis B.A. from Whittier College in Business Administration and Psychology. She earned an M.A. from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas.
